Have you noticed who pays for the ads on mainstream media? It’s Big Pharma and Big Food. The BBC and CNN aren’t going to tell you that the processed junk in our supermarkets is fueling a global health crisis because those companies pay the piper.

It All Starts in the Gut
For three years now, I’ve ditched the mainstream narrative and started looking at alternative sources. I realized how naive I’d been. There is incredible research out there that simply doesn’t fit the “corporate narrative.”
Take Professor Tim Spector, for example. His research shows that a huge portion of these chronic diseases actually start in the stomach. Our gut health is the frontline of our defense.
A large study recently found that people who flossed regularly were 25% less likely to develop Alzheimer’s. Why? Because it’s all connected—bacteria, inflammation, and gut health.
To My Fellow Over-60s
If you’re over 60, you’re likely the only generation left still glued to the mainstream media. I’m telling you: look for other sources. I started listening to independent podcasts and researchers three years ago, and my mind is blown. Don’t just take the “official” word for it. Go online, find the other side of the argument, and take control of your own biology.
The best advice (and there is pleny of it) appears to be what we knew all along and forgot. Eat Breakfast, Eat healthy, cook your own food, eat local food, excersise every day, stretch and stretch again. Do weights…we loose muscle as we get older and then fall over….keep your muscles strong, fresh air, and stop eating ultra processed foods, no takeaways, everything in moderation. Easy really (one last thing…its funny that the cereals with the most sugar are advertised as the healthiest…read the packet).
Whether it’s cycling through the Algarve or fixing your diet, it’s time to stop being a customer for the pharmaceutical companies and start being a champion for your own longevity.
